For the past year, Friends of the Parks (FOTP) has met with Chicagoans, parkgoers, community organizations, and elected officials across the city to discuss what it takes to build lasting ties between neighborhoods and their parks. That work produced the Park Roots report.

This event covers a snapshot of the report: key findings, community voices, and what they mean for park access and stewardship across the city. It's free and open to anyone who cares about Chicago's parks.
