National Public Lands Day

Volunteers are needed for a greening project near you!!!!

Join in the nation's largest hands-on volunteer effort to improve and enhance public lands. Celebrate National Public Lands Day with Friends of the Parks by cleaning and greening your neighborhood parks or local forest preserve!

Current sites include:

Bartel Grasslands           Beaubien Woods        Cermak Woods    

Dropseed Prairie              Garfield Park            The Grove

Harms Flatwoods            Iron Oaks Preserve         Kickapoo Woods

Lincoln Marsh Natural Area       Lincoln Park – North Pond        

Major Taylor Bicycle Trail          Mount Forest Island      Portage Woods

Whistler Woods     Wolf Road Prairie Nature Preserve
