Friends of the Parks believes everyday should be Earth Day. In order to come together as a community each spring, Friends of the Parks hosts its annual Earth Day Parks & Preserves Clean Up.
Join Friends of the Parks and other volunteers to clean and green a neighborhood park or preserve from 9:00AM - Noon this Saturday. Most sites will have extra work gloves - but you may want to bring your own to insure you have a pair. T-Shirts will be given on a first come, first served basis.
Join us later at the Humboldt Park Boathouse for an Earth Day Celebration from Noon to 2:00 p.m. or the Bunker Hill Forest Preserve on Caldwell Avenue (North of Devon) from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
Registration for new sites is now closed. Please consider volunteering at one of our other sites. If you have any site related questions, please email sullivanme@fotp.org
